"The Fiction of Lines" dives into the realm of migrant perspectives and how they shape personal world views which in turn shapes how we design.
ABOUT THE PROJECT
The Fiction of Lines is a poster project that required me to write a manifesto that expressed a way of thinking that relates to design & intertwined with my personal experience in life. It required me to think critically about what intersections of my perceptual life experience shaped the way I design.
I chose the topic of migration since it's a core trait that defines me as a Mexican American.
I was lucky to have it exhibited at the Ronald H. Silverman Fine Arts Gallery at CalStateLA and share its message in times of uncertainty for the migrant community.
