ABOUT THE PROJECT

This project is a packaging concept that celebrates artisanal chocolate through the cultural lens of Mexico and the vibrant lineage of Chicano identity. Drawing inspiration from the symbolism and storytelling of Día de los Muertos, and its satire, each wrapper transforms a classic chocolate bar into a playful yet reverent tribute to life, memory, and sweet indulgence. The result is a cohesive, spirited packaging system that honors the rituals of remembrance while embracing the joy and levity that define Día de los Muertos, inviting users to savor chocolate as both treat and storytelling experience.
